Celina: ACCIDENT…is going to be a turning point

Celina Jaitley is doubly excited about her upcoming release ACCIDENT ON HILL ROAD. So much so that she is willing to declare that this film would mark a turning point in her career. Though in the recent past she has appeared in Rohit Shetty's GOLMAAL RETURNS and Subhash Ghai's PAYING GUESTS, Celina believes that ACCIDENT ON HILL ROAD is one film that has managed to bring to fore her acting skills.

"I can say that based on the kind of response which is coming from those who have seen from the film", says Celina who recently hosted a couple of special screenings for this thriller which also stars Farooq Sheikh and Abhimanyu Shekhar Singh, "As I gather from them, both the film as well as my act work which is quite reassuring. Whatever was there in my hand, I did it in this film. I went as per the director's (Mahesh Nair) words. Now it is up to the audience to come up with their judgement."

One wonders if after being in the industry for more than 6 years, ACCIDENT ON HILL ROAD is finally the film that has an author backed role for her?

"Yes, I think so", says Celina, "No matter how big an actor you are, you are always insecure. Till some time back, perhaps even I wasn't too sure about fitting in the bill for a movie belonging to this genre and treatment with a role as complex as the one I play. I can confidently state that whatever people have seen of me so far, they would see the other side of me this time around. ACCIDENT… is certainly going to be the turning point in my professional life."

A Magna Films production, ACCIDENT ON HILL ROAD is based on a true story and releases all over on 18th December.
